Tony cut his teeth in the dawn of west coast punk explosion...which in several years, gave birth to the first wave of thrash metal. While in the punk scene Tony was the bassist for Stalag 13 and Dr. Know, which toured the nation supporting the album "This Island Earth" which was released on Metal Blade/Death records.
In San Francisco, Tony found himself as the bassist in a band led by the guitar virtuoso "Buckethead" who Tony worked with at various intervals throughout the 90's, touring regionally and supporting Mr. Bungle, Primus, GWAR, System of a Down and others.
Tony graduated from the Los Angeles Music Academy in '98, where he studied Jazz, Brazilian, Cuban, and more.
During this time Tony played bass for "Eyedentity" which at times featured guest performers Flora Purim, Airto Moriera and legendary Motown studio guitarist Wah Wah Watson.
In Asheville North Carolina, Tony began working with former Lynyrd Skynyrd drummer Artimus Pyle and his band APB, which toured nationally. Artimus and Anthony appear on several studio recordings together
After playing with Artimus for over ten years, Tony was asked to join the Marshall Tucker Band in July of 2016 and performed over 350 concerts, including

His favorite show was in Solana Beach Ca, in 2017
Upon leaving the road to be with his family, Tony began shifting his focus from freelancing to songwriting as well as playing guitar.
Tony is currently working on two main projects...
an album of indy folk and country songs containing many original tracks composed on the road
an experimental world jazz EP "Blackarts Ensemble"
